Reunite Parthenon – The Commemorative Set of Stamps for the reunification of the Parthenon Sculptures

Hellenic Post presents a Commemorative Set of Stamps in the service of national cultural diplomacy, with the aspiration that they will carry the demand for the reunification of the Parthenon Sculptures around the world, strengthening that universal vision.

Hellenic Post has designed four stamps depicting selected parts of the dismembered Sculptures of the Parthenon, side by side with the clear expression of the demand for their reunification: Reunite Parthenon.

To maximise the spread of this message, Hellenic Post has for the first time created a special, bilingual microsite with all the information about the stamps and philatelic products, where they can also be purchased: www.parthenonstamps.gr

The official presentation of the set will take place on Friday, May 20 at 7 p.m., in the Auditorium of the Acropolis Museum, in the presence of the Minister of Culture & Sport, Lina Mendoni. The event will be open to the public and it will be possible to obtain a special commemorative postmark for the creation of rare collectibles.
